Every year, our famous Dog Definition Candles sell out before Christmas, and this year's shaping up to be no different.
As we have over 150 different breeds available and amazing customers across the whole of the UK, we get lots of insights into what dog-lovers will be receiving as a gift this year.
Last year, Cockapoos stole the spotlight as our our best-selling candle, with 10% overall, followed by Black Labradors (7%), Dachshunds (6%), Cocker Spaniels (5%), and Cavapoos (3%).
So far in 2024, Black Labradors are leading the pack by a wide margin! Known for their friendly, loyal nature, they’re a classic family favourite.
Close behind are Cockapoos, the playful Poodle-Cocker Spaniel mix, followed by charming Dachshunds, affectionate Cocker Spaniels, and friendly Golden Retrievers.
Each of these breeds brings its own unique personality, making them top picks for dog lovers everywhere.

We can also potentially see the UK's most unique dog breeds, with the lowest number of dog breed candles so far this year.
The most unique include Chions, a Chihuahua-Papillon mix, followed by playful, fluffy Pomapoos, clever Chi-Poos, elegant Bracco Italianos, and striking Afghan Hounds.
We have to agree, there's some wonderfully unique breeds in this list.
