Makester exists for one moment: you need a gift today, and a card won’t cut it.

We make gift candles defined by their labels. Thousands of designs, with new ones added every week: the cockapoo obsessive, the reluctant forty-year-old, the couple on their 25th anniversary, the colleague leaving on Friday. One of them already says exactly what you mean, so there’s no personalisation form and no three-day proof. Order by 4pm on a weekday and it’s posted the same day.

Inside every glass is the same blend we perfected in 2020 and never needed to change: 220g of soy wax, Madagascan vanilla and jasmine, around forty hours of burn.

Each label is applied by hand at our workshop in Ringwood, Hampshire, then boxed into its gift tube. Over two thousand reviews average 4.7 stars, and the best ones describe the unwrapping: a laugh, a pause, the odd happy tear.
