The label says the thing nieces and nephews rarely manage out loud: ‘you have loved me for as long as I have lived, but I have loved you my entire life’, handwritten with scribbled hearts, a butterfly doodle and a yellow highlighter stroke. One for an auntie’s birthday, Mother’s Day, or a Christmas gift she keeps well after the day.
