For the cricket obsessive whose diary bends around the fixtures list: the label states the household rule plainly, ‘Sorry, I can’t. There’s cricket on.’ It’s a knowing Father’s Day gift for a Test-watching dad, a birthday present for a husband or brother who disappears for five days every Ashes summer, or a Christmas stocking joke for the grandad with the radio commentary on. Fair warning to anyone hoping he’ll help with the garden.

Your candle questions answered.

How does the multi-buy work?
Your first candle is £20, your second is £15, your third is £10, and your fourth is just £5. That is four candles for £50 instead of £80, taken off automatically in your basket.

Mix any designs and any occasions you like. Every candle after the fourth is £5 too, so eight candles is £70.

When will my order arrive?
Orders placed before 4pm Monday to Friday are sent the same day. Delivery is free on orders over £25, and you’ll see the available delivery options at checkout. Delivery dates are estimates, so please allow extra time during busy periods.
Can I send it straight to the recipient?
Yes. Enter their address as the delivery address at checkout. The candle arrives in its own presentation tube.
