For the angler whose plans are gloriously vague: the label reads ‘Gone fishing back whenever’, which is about as much notice as anyone gets. Give it to a dad or granddad on Father’s Day, a mate marking a milestone birthday, or a colleague retiring with a rod already in the car. It suits anyone happiest on a riverbank at dawn, phone off, keeping their own hours.
